Vesta’s Main Competition was the Vestalia, a weeklong celebration held annually from June 7–15. Through the Vestalia, barefoot maidens shaped a procession leading to the Temple of Vesta, exactly where they would make choices into the goddess. The Vestalia was enormously well-known—following the increase of Christianity from the Roman Empi
